Since 2018 Natalia Pancec (Colotelo) is the principal of the first violin section in the “George Enescu” Philharmonic Orchestra of Bucharest, having the opportunity, on many occasions, to perform in the position of a concertmaster. She performed as a soloist with different philharmonics in Romania: Bacău, Brașov, Galați, Râmnicu Sărat, Sibiu, as well as with the “George Enescu” Philharmonic Orchestra of Bucharest, the Bucharest Symphony Orchestra and the Orchestra of the National University of Music in Bucharest. She has collaborated with important conductors such as Ovidiu Bălan, Dumitru Goia, Costin Adrian Grigore, Nicolae Moldoveanu, Tiberiu Soare or Florin Totan. She participated in festivals in Romania (Anim’est, Bucharest Music Film Festival, Gopo Awards, Sighișoara) and abroad (France, Germany, Moldova and Japan).
Natalia Pancec (Colotelo) attended the courses of the ”Dinu Lipatti” High School of Music in Bucharest and graduated from the National University of Music in Bucharest in the violin class of the master Daniel Podlovschi, and in 2010 she achieved the title of Doctor of Music.
The violinist obtained a series of important prizes, such as the Grand Prize at the “Paul Constantinescu” Competition in Ploiești, the First Prize and the Special Jury Prize at the “George Enescu – Impressions from Childhood” Competition in Bucharest, culminating in 2003 with the Third Prize (the only prize awarded) at the International ”Jeunesses Musicales” Competition in Bucharest.
She has given concerts hosted by the “George Enescu” Hall of the National University of Music in Bucharest, the Cantacuzino Palace Hall, the Dalles Hall, but especially by the two halls of the Romanian Athenaeum, with the pianist Taeko Ishinabe (Japan), with the ”Noblesse” Quartet, accompanied by the pianists Verona Maier, Simona Strungaru, Adriana Toacsen, and by the guitarist Maxim Belciug.
